Freedom Pools has launched a new Australian designed swimming pool filtration device, the MultiCyclone which will be installed in all new Freedom pools.

Designed by Waterco this new compact device can save up to 7000 litres of pool water a year and drastically reduce filter maintenance.

The MultiCyclone works on the basis of centrifugal water filtration and has no moving parts that can wear out and no filter components to clean or replace. The device spins sediments down to the sump while the cleansed water spirals upwards.

Key benefits of the MultiCyclone:

  • Save up to 7,000 litres of water per year in an average pool
  • Reduces filter maintenance
  • Easy to install and fits to most existing pool filtration systems
  • Filters need to be backwashed approximately twice per year rather than every 1 – 2 months
  • MultiCyclone collects 80% of dirt that clogs filters before it gets there

The product has received the Smart Approved WaterMark, Australia’s water-saving labelling program for products and services which are helping to reduce outdoor water use and was awarded the 2007 Piscina Barcelona Sustainability Award at the International Swimming Pool Exhibition.
