Freedom’s Sunlover Solar Heating

A Freedom Sunlover heating system consists of an array of plastic tubing, commonly known as the solar collector, which is laid out on the roof of your home. The pool water is pumped through the solar collector and sunlight beaming on the collector warms the water inside. The heated water is then returned to the pool to increase its overall temperature. The chief economic advantage of solar pool heating is that a solar system pays for itself in just a few years.

Black is the most efficient colour for absorbing heat, but after extensive testing and research we now offer a wide range of colours to suit most roofs on today’s homes.

Obviously the lighter the colour the effectiveness decreases but this can be alleviated by increasing the quantity of solar used.
